LG 39GS96QB UltraGear OLED gaming monitor goes on sale in the U.S.

LG 39GS96QB has just been launched in the USA priced USD 1500. This new curved UltraGea OLED gaming monitor uses the same display panel as its
LG 39GS95QE which was launched back in March. This is a 39-inch OLED display panel by LG Display with an 800R curvature, an ultra-wide QHD resolution (3440 x 1440 px), a typical brightness of 275 nits, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, 1.5M:1 static contrast ratio, 10-bit color, 98.5% DCI-P3 color space coverage. The monitor supports 0.03 ms GTG response time and a 240Hz refresh rate. The model is AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certified and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible. It also employs LG's Anti-Glare & Low Reflection Coating and a 4-side borderless design with a massive L-shaped stand. The latter delivers height, tilt, and swivel adjustment.
What are the main differences between the LG 39GS96QB and the LG 39GS95QE? The first is that the 39GS96QB has two speakers and the 39GS95QE does not have speakers. The second is that the 39GS96QB has a USB Type-C port with 65W power delivery and DP Alt Mode, while the 39GS95QE lacks a USB-C port but has a Type-B upstream one, instead. The rest of the connectivity options are one and the same - two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 input with DSC, a 4-pole headphone jack with DTS Headphone: X, and two USB 3.2 Type-A ports.
