Samsung enriches its QLED TVs lineup with a 55- and a 65-inch model. The Frame series gets a 43-inch modelDuring the IFA 2017 in Berlin, Samsung has announced two new flat-screen QLED TVs - the 55- and 65-inch Q8F, and a 43-inch version of The Frame. Q8F is the flat-screen sibling of the Q8C lineup of curved-screen QLED TVs. Samsung's QLED TVs adopt its metal quantum dot technology that provides the most accurate colours despite the brightness level of scenes. This has been verified with a "100 percent Color Volume" by VDE (Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker), the global standard certificate authority in Germany. These TVs are also provided with the Invisible Connection, a transparent optical cable that is only 1.8 mm in diameter and eliminates the tangled clutter of cables, and the No Gap Wall-mount that allows them to fit in any environment. The mew Q8F QLED TVs will be available from September. The suggested price of the 55-inch model is EUR 2599 and the one of the 65-inch model is and EUR 3599.

The Frame is Samsung's series of lifestyle TVs, which includes a 55-inch and a 65-inch model. It now adds a 43-inch one. The TV features an Art Mode function, which enhances its function beyond TV and can serve as a home décor element displaying both works of art as well as personal photographs. The Frame's Art Store will contain about 1000 prominent art pieces from world famous galleries and museums including the LUMAS, Saatchi Art, Sedition and Prado Museum. The model will go on sale in Europe in October, priced at EUR 1499.

"We are proud to introduce a flat version of the Q8 in response to demand from European consumers seeking premium, flat and mid-size TVs," said Sang-ho Cho, Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. "Our extended QLED TV lineup as well as the 43-inch version of The Frame ushers in new possibilities for televisions with their innovative technology and beautiful design, reflecting consumer lifestyles." Samsung will also host the QLED and HDR10 (High Dynamic Range) Summit at IFA on September 1 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Berlin, Germany to offer insights into the advancement of quantum dot (QLED) displays as well as developing the full potential of the HDR10/HDR10+ ecosystem.Source
