LG Display increases investment in its OLED plant in Hai Phong, VietnamVarious Vietnamese media announce, that LG Display will invest an additional 1.4 billion USD in a modular assembly plant at the Hai Phong campus in Vietnam. The goal of this investment is to increase the production of OLED modules of all sizes at the Hai Phong campus. More specifically, the OLED module production will increase from 9.6-10.1 million units per month to 13-14 million units per month. This will also create 10,000 new jobs and increase exports by $6.5 billion per year.

The LG Display plant in Hai Phong started in 2016 with an initial investment of 2.5 billion USD. In February, the company invested an additional $750 million USD in the campus. With this new investment, the total sum reaches 4.65 billion USD.Source
