nubia Red Magic 5088-zone Mini LED Gaming Monitor is launched in Chinanubia is a sub-brand of ZTE and for the past few years has been specializing in launching gaming-centric smartphones and monitors under its Red Magic /Red Devil brand. Earlier this week, nubia launched in China its latest gaming monitor - the Red Magic 5088-zone Mini LED Gaming Monitor. We know, it is a bit difficult to refer to this as a model name but that's the direct translation from the Chinese naming of the product.

The Red Magic 5088-zone Mini LED Gaming Monitor is equipped with a 27-inch Fast IPS display by AU Optronics, it is the AUO 7.0 generation panel with a 4K resolution and a Mini LED backlight with 5088 local dimming zones. The display supports 10-bit color bit depth and covers 99% of the sRGB, 99% of the DCI-P3, and 99% of the Adobe RGB color space. It has a 1 ms GTG response time and a 160Hz refresh rate with AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible certifications. The model is VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certified. With triple eye protection, ambient light sensor for auto brightness adjustment, and professional factory calibration, the monitor also provides plenty of display and gaming modes.

The Red Magic 5088-zone Mini LED Gaming Monitor is fitted with two HDMI 2.1 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, a USB Type-C port with 90W power delivery and DP Alt mode, a headphone jack, and a USB hub. Its stand provides full ergonomic options, including a bi-directional pivot, up to 120 mm of height adjustment, -5 to 20 degrees of tilt, and +/-30 degrees of swivel. The rear shell has Red Magic's specific hexagonal shape with RGB light effects. The model costs CNY 5999.
