Panasonic showcases two new sereis of OLED TVs - the FZW954 and FZW804Panasonic is currently showcasing its product highlights in the TV sector at the IFA 2018 in Berlin. The most interesting models are two new OLED TVs: the Panasonic FZW954 and Panasonic FZW804. The FZW954 series includes 55- and 65-inch models each with a 4K Pro HDR Master OLED. Their sound is tuned by Technics for exceptional performance through the innovative speakers. The models are powered by a Studio Color HCX Processor and support HDR10 / PQ (4K Blu-ray), Hybrid Log Gamma (Broadcast) HDR10 / PQ and HDR10 + Dynamic Metadata technology. The models are THX 4K Certified Displays and feature a Quattro Tuner with twin concept and 2 CI slots: for maximum versatility in TV reception via antenna, satellite, cable or TV> IP (server & client). The FZW804 series includes 55- and 65-inch models as well with the same 4K Pro HDR Master OLED, Studio Color HCX Processor, Quattro Tuner, and THX 4K certification as the previous series but with Reference Surround Sound Plus and slightly limited HDR Multi Support: HDR10 / PQ (4K Blu-ray), Hybrid Log Gamma (Broadcast) major HDR formats.

In addition, Panasonic announced a firmware update which will provde all 2018 TV models from the FXW654 series with HDR10+ support. Moreover, all models from the FXW724 series are currently officially certified for the HDR10 + technology. Panasonic will also be upgrading its top-of-the-line models in terms of speech recognition: many TV models will support voice control by software update from fall 2018 onwards.
