Hisense unveilts its TriChroma 75L9 and 100L9 Laser TV series and the Hisense L5 Laser TV seriesIt looks like Hisense is determined to tackle most big challenges that TVs face with innovative thinking and solutions off the beaten track. Today, at CES 2020, Hisense announced its TriChroma L9 Laser TV series. TriChroma means that this product reproduces 90% of the colours visible to the human eye. It is also the only display that can meet the future standard for color TVs - BT.2020. Not to mention that the pure nature of laser TVs make them more eye-friendly providing increased viewing comfort compared to LED TVs. A third noteworthy characteristic of laser TVs is that they consume less power. A 100" laser TV consumes 50% less power compared to a 100" LED TV. Finally, the Hisense laser TVs employs a Sonic screen sound technology. By adopting a honeycomb structure in the backplane of the screen, it turns each inch of the screen into an independent sound unit.

The Hisense TriChroma L9 series includes the Hisense 75L9 which was launched in China in Q4 2019. It has a 4K display that covers 100% of the BT.2020 color space. Harman Kardon speakers are onboard as well. The model arrives with VIDAA Smart OS and uses the X-Light Laser Light source. There's the Hisense 100L9 as well, which has the same specs and features on a large screen. The biggest difference is that employs Hisense's Dual Smart Screen tech. During the press conference, the Hisense L5 series was also unveiled which arrives with advanced audio (dbx-tv) and a starting price of USD 5,999. The 70-inch self-rising laser TV has also been teased by Hisense.
