The Asus PA279CV-R ProArt Display is released in JapanIn October last year, Asus unveiled the Asus PA279CV Pro Art Display. Today, it launched the Asus PA279CV=R ProArt Display in Japan. We compared the specifications and features of both models and so far we couldn't detect any differences. Both are equipped with a 27-inch a-Si IPS display panel with a 4K resolution (3840 x 2160), 60Hz native refresh rate, 350 cd/m² typical brightness, and 1000:1 (most probably LG Display LM270WR4-SSA1) static contrast ratio. The monitors support HDR10 and 10-bit color (8-bit+FRC). They also cover 100% of the sRGB color space and offer 5 ms GTG response time.

They have two 2W stereo speakers and an ergonomic stand the provides height adjustment of up to 150 mm, +/-90° swivel, +/-90° pivot, -5°to 32° tilt. It can also be removed for VESA wall mounting. The monitors' connectivity options include two HDMI 2.0 inputs, DisplayPort 1.2, four USB Type-A 3.1 downsteram ports, and a USB Type-C 3.1 upstream port.

The two monitors also have identical features including 6-axis color adjustment, Adaptive-Sync Technology, Asus ProArt Preset (12 modes), Asus ProArt Palette, CalMAN Verified for color accuracy of △E<2, Color Temperature Selection (5 modes), Flicker-free technology, Gamma adjustment, Low Blue Light, QuickFit, SPLENDID Video Intelligence Technology, and Trace Free Technology, etc.
