ViewSonic has released two new 31.5-inch curved desktop monitors. The ViewSonic VX3268-2KPC-mhd has a QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) and costs USD 314. The ViewSonic VX3268-PC-mhd has an FHD resolution (1920 x 1080) and costs USD 272. All the rest in terms of specifications and features is almost identical.
Both monitors employ 31.5-inch MVA panels with a 1500R curvature, 250 nits typical brightness, 3000:1 static contrast, and 80M:1 dynamic contrast. The two support AMD FreeSync Premium technology with the ViewSonic VX3268-2KPC-mhd supporting up to 144Hz and the ViewSonic VX3268-PC-mhd supporting up to 165Hz refresh rate. Both monitors offer 3 ms GTG response time and 1 ms MPRT.
In terms of ergonomics, each of the two models offers -3°/21° tilt adjustment and their stands can be removed for VESA wall mounting (100 x 100 mm). Each monitor has two HDMI ports, DisplayPort, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack plus two 2W stereo speakers. However, the ViewSonic VX3268-2KPC-mhd has HDMI 2.0 ports, while the ViewSonic VX3268-PC-mhd has HDMI 1.4 ports.
