Add DisplaySpecifications as a preferred source on GoogleThe Asus ROG Swift OLED PG32UCWM has been announced together with its smaller sibling - the Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM. The two monitors share a lot in common but the main difference is that while the 26.5-inch model uses a QD-OLED panel, the 31.5-inch model uses a WOLED panel.
The Asus ROG Swift OLED PG32UCWM mirrors the capabilities of the PG27UCWM but scales them into a bigger, more cinematic form factor. It is built around a true Tandem RGB WOLED panel and finished with the company's TrueBlack Glossy optical layer. By eliminating the white subpixel and relying solely on a pure RGB Stripe Pixel architecture, Asus reports a 27% increase in color volume at high luminance, producing richer saturation and more lifelike highlights.
The PG32UCWM delivers a peak HDR brightness of 1000 nits, supported by VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black and Dolby Vision certification. Its native 10‑bit panel covers 99% of the DCI‑P3 color space and reaches 130% sRGB color volume. With factory tuning to Delta E < 2 accuracy, the larger canvas becomes a strong option for creators who need both precision and immersion.
Gaming performance remains identical to that of the smaller model. The PG32UCWM features Dual Mode switching, allowing users to toggle between 4K at 240Hz for maximum clarity and FHD at 480Hz for esports‑grade responsiveness. A 0.03ms GTG response time ensures exceptional motion clarity, enhanced further by Asus ELMB Sync technology. The monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, NVIDIA G‑SYNC compatibility, GamePlus tools, and GameVisual presets - all scaled to a larger viewing area that benefits both competitive and cinematic gameplay.
Asus continues to refine its OLED longevity strategy with OLED Care Pro, a comprehensive suite of automated and customizable protection features. The Neo Proximity Sensor detects when the user steps away and instantly shifts the screen to a black image to reduce static‑image exposure. Adjustable motion sensitivity, an Auto‑Away Timer, pixel cleaning cycles, pixel shifting, logo brightness control, and multiple dimming modes complete the protection system, all accessible through DisplayWidget Center.
Thermal management is handled by a custom heatsink and GaNFET power architecture that improves efficiency and reduces waste heat by nearly 35%, keeping vent temperatures up to 10% cooler. Despite its larger footprint, the PG32UCWM maintains the same semi‑transparent rear panel and slim, modern silhouette that define the ROG aesthetic.
Connectivity remains robust. A DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20 input provides full 80Gbps bandwidth for uncompressed 4K 240Hz output, while HDMI 2.1, USB Type‑C with 90W power delivery, and a USB hub support a wide range of devices. The ergonomic stand offers tilt, swivel, and height adjustments, and the display is fully VESA‑mountable.
