Asus ROG Strix XG259QNS goes official with a 380Hz FHD Fast IPS displayAsus ROG Strix XG259QNS has just been unveiled with a full set of specifications. It resembles in many ways the Asus ROG Strix XG259QN which was unveiled in May and launched in July 2023.

Asus ROG Strix XG259QNS is built around a 24.5-inch Fast IPS display with an FHD resolution, 1 ms GTG response time, and 0.3 ms minimal response time. With a 360 Hz refresh rate (overclockable to 380 Hz), it ensures smooth and responsive gaming performance. The 8-bit display has a typical brightness of 400 nits and is DisplayHDR 400 certified. It supports AMD FreeSync Premium, providing tear-free gaming experiences. Equipped with ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB SYNC) technology, it combines ELMB with variable refresh rate (VRR), eliminating ghosting and tearing for sharp visuals at high frame rates. Unlike the XG259QN, the XG259QN is not certified as being NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible. However, it arrives with several features that are not present in the older model. These include ROG Gaming AI technology with Dynamic Shadow Boost and Dynamic Crosshair, Color Temperature Selection (4 modes), and GameFast Input. It also covers a wider sRGB space - 110%.

Asus ROG Strix XG259QNS has a fully ergonomic stand with expanded options compared to the XG259QN. It delivers a height adjustment of up to 120 mm, a bi-directional pivot, +/-45 degrees of swivel, and -5 to 20 degrees of tilt. The stand also has a 1/4" tripod socket. The connectivity options seem to be the same including a DisplayPort 1.4 input with HBR3, two HDMI 2.0 ports, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, a USB Type-B port, and a headphone jack.
