Apple introduces a new Mac monitor - the Pro Display XDRThe first Mac monitor from Apple with HDR supports is a fact. Enter the Pro Display XDR. The unit features a 32-inch IPS panel with a 6K resolution and a zone dimming LED backlight. The display offers up to 1600 nits peak brightness and up to 1000 nits of typical brightness. The model supports true 10-bit colour and covers the DCI-P3 colourspace. It also provides 25 times better off-axis contrast than a typical LCD. To ensure the lowest glare possible, Apple uses a nano-texture that's etched into the glass at the nanometer level. Apple Pro Display XDR will cost USD 4,999 for the standard edition and USD 5,999 for the nano-texture coating option. You have to pay USD 1000 in addition for the stand which offers tilt, height, and pivot adjustment. A VESA compatible wall bracket can be obtained for USD 2000. The model also has a Thunderbolt 3 and 3x USB-C ports.
