Asus ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG and XG32UCWG with TrueBlack Glossy coating go officialAsus ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG and Asus ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWG are two 32" WOLED gaming monitors with TrueBlack Glossy coating. The TrueBlack Glossy film pairs a zero-haze optical layer with an advanced anti-reflective stack. The zero-haze layer keeps black hues intact in any lighting, allowing the monitor to deliver deep blacks even in bright environments. The anti-reflective layer results in a 38% drop in ambient reflections compared to previous-gen glossy WOLED panels, making it easier to get distraction-free gaming in rooms with multiple light sources. The WOLED panel on both monitors uses MLA+ technology, and Asus is targeting the requirements of the DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification for these displays.

Asus ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG and Asus ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWG are also dual-mode monitors. They use Frame Rate Boost accessible via the OSD and a hotkey to flip between high resolution or extremely high refresh rate mode. The models are NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certified. The Asus ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG supports 4K @ 165Hz and FHD @ 330Hz. The Asus ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWG supports 4K @ 240Hz and FHD @ 480Hz. If the display's 32-inch diagonal feels a bit large for competitive play, activate the optional Aspect Ratio Control to replicate 24.5-inch or 27-inch imagery.

Compared to the stand of the ROG Swift OLED models, the stand on these new monitors is 60% smaller. Importantly, their depth is reduced by 30%, so they don’t protrude as far forward into the space you might prefer to leave open for your mousing hand. The connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports and one standard DisplayPort 1.4 port, a USB Type-C port with DP Alt Mode and 15W power delivery, and two USB Type-A ports. Auto KVM is also supported.

The OLED panels are protected by the Asus OLED Care Pro suite of protections, including heatsinks and even the Neo Proximity Sensor. This sensor detects your presence using time-of-flight calculations to make sure that the monitor only displays an image when you’re actively using it, saving energy and reducing the risk of burn-in. When you come back to your PC, your content will return right away.

ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 is also on board. This new tech retains the refresh rate range adjustments of the first-gen solution while adding a new panel technology co-developed in a partnership with Asus's panel supplier. ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 uses a luminance compensation algorithm to dynamically boost pixel brightness based on real-time detection of the panel's refresh rate. This results in a more uniform visual image and up to 20% less perceived on-screen flicker, compared to models using previous-gen OLED panels.

Additional features available on the Asus ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG and Asus ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWG include ROG AI Gaming technology with Dynamic Shadow Boost and Dynamic Crosshair, Asus DisplayWidget Center, etc.
