Acer Predator X27U X1bmiiphx with a 240Hz QHD QD-OLED display goes officialAcer Predator X27U X1bmiiphx appeared for the first time on Chinese online retailers a week ago. However, Acer is ready for the model's global launch listing it on its U.S. and several European websites. The model code for the U.S. is UM.GXXAA.101 and the model code for Europe is UM.GXXEE.101. The Acer Predator X27U X1 is built around a 26.5-inch QD-OLED display with a QHD resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate. It is AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible certified. With a typical brightness of 250 nits and a peak HDR brightness of 1000 nits, the screen is also VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified. It also covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space and supports 10-bit color bit depth. Acer mentions a glossy finish for this model. In terms of ergonomy, the stand of the monitor supports up to 120 mm of height adjustment, +/-20 degrees of swivel, and -5 to 20 degrees of tilt. The connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4 input - all three with Display Stream Compression support. There are two 5W speakers and a headphone jack on board as well. Some of the additional Acer Predator X27U X1bmiiphx features include Game Mode, Gaming Assistance, PiP, PbP, Black Boost, Super Sharpness, and several display-protection technologies such as Edge Protection, Image Retention Refresh, Pixel Centering, and Static Image Upkeep. The pricing of this model for the U.S. and Europe is yet unknown. Probably, the European price will be around EUR 750.
