Philips OLED+909 with LGD META 2.0 OLED displays and 4-sided Ambilight are presentedTPVision also presented the Philips OLED+909 series for this year. The series comprises three models: In a similar fashion to the 65" OLED+959, the Philips OLED+909 TVs use the latest LG Display META 2.0 OLED display panels with Micro Lens Array Plus, multi-booster algorithms, and up to 3000 nits of peak brightness. It also arrives with the new P5 AI Dual Engine Gen 8 processor that includes the new Ambient Intelligence V3, AI Machine Learn Sharpness V2 system, and Smart Bit Enhancement algorithm (V3). Gaming has also been enhanced thanks to including a new Game Bar, the MEMC feature, and 144Hz VRR including Dolby Vision Gaming.

The 3.1 front-firing sound system of the OLED909 series includes dedicated, front-firing, left, centre, right (LCR) speakers, with each channel featuring two 30mm x 50mm mid-range drivers plus a 19mm titanium dome tweeter, now with a Nautilus tube and with each speaker acoustically isolated within its own rigid enclosure. At the rear of the set is a dedicated bass enclosure features a 75mm subwoofer supported by four passive radiators.

Eight channels of amplification for a total power rating of 81W is available with each channel having its own dedicated signal processing. The overall result is a high-resolution, exceptionally refined TV sound with a combination of deep accurate bass with a wide sound stage. The system is also fine-tuned to match the specific screen size to ensure the crystal-clear dialogue aligns with the centre of the screen. For viewers seeking even deeper bass, the OLED+909 includes the option to connect an external subwoofer.

The distinctive feature of the Philips OLED+909 TVs is their four-sided version of the Ambilight system. The OLED+909 has a minimalist, metal frame bezel with the frontal sound system integrated along the bottom of the screen and covered in Kvadrat Audiomix cloth. The stand comprises two ‘pill’ shaped, low-profile, extruded metal feet in a black sheen finish.
