Sony BRAVIA 8 II specifications and featuresAdd DisplaySpecifications as a preferred source on GoogleLast night Sony unveiled its 2025 BRAVIA 8 II series of 4K QD-OLED TVs. The 2024 BRAVIA 8 series comprised three models but for 2025 Sony has listed only two class sizes: The Sony BRAVIA 8 II is a flagship QD-OLED TV series using the brand's proprietary XR Processor and the latest generation QD-OLED panel. The upgraded XR Triluminos Max enhances the display of more natural colors while preserving vivid brilliance, ensuring that each color appears just right and optimizing the high color purity and wide color gamut of the QD-OLED panel. The XR Processor features an AI scene-recognition system that detects and analyzes the picture to portray the most realistic display. The BRAVIA 8 II has a high luminance panel and a temperature sensor with the XR Contrast Booster that precisely controls light to show depth and detail. XR Clear Image uses a custom database to intelligently convert your favorites to near 4K. Noise is minimized through zone division and dynamic frame analysis for sharper, more refined images. XR OLED Motion detects and analyzes visual elements on successive frames, then creates and inserts extra frames between the originals for smoother scenes. The Sony BRAVIA 8 II QD-OLED panel reduces the effects of glare and reflection from daylight and room light so you can see images clearly in even dark scenes.

Your screen becomes a speaker with BRAVIA 8 II. Actuators vibrate behind the screen, delivering crisp, immersive sound straight from the action, just like in the cinema. Acoustic Surface Audio+ with tweeter turns every part of the screen into a powerful speaker emitting sound from the right place in the scene to create a cinema-like experience. Voice Zoom 3 recognizes human dialogue through AI machine learning and amplifies or reduces its volume so even small dialogue sounds loud and clear. 3D Surround Upscaling creates a virtual surround from above and the sides using just the TV speakers.

The Sony BRAVIA 8 II QD-OLED TVs have a native refresh rate of 120Hz and are perfectly tuned for PlayStation 5. Auto HDR Tone Mapping instantly optimizes HDR settings during your PS5 and PS5 Pro console initial setup. With Auto Genre Picture Mode, BRAVIA automatically switches into Game Mode with PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles to minimize lag and maximize responsiveness. It switches back to Standard Mode when watching movies for more expressive scenes. The PS Remote Play app lets you control your PS5, PS5 Pro, or PS4 console from another room or location like a friend's house. With Game Menu 2, you can check your status, fine-tune settings, and access assist functions from one place.

The Sony BRAVIA 8 II QD-OLED TVshave a Slim One Slate design with a two-way stand that can be adjusted in height to accommodate a soundbar below the TV. The TVs run on Google TV (Android 12) with Google Cast, Google Assistant, Chromecast built-in, Apple AirPlys 2, and Alexa. The TVs are fitted with two HDMI 2.1 ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports, a LAN port, a USB 2.0 and a USB 3.0 port, an optical audio out, and market-dependent sat/antenna/cable inputs.
