HP 727pu and HP 727pq with 120Hz QHD IPS Black displays go officialHP 727pu and HP 727pq round off the quartet of new HP Series 7 Pro desktop monitors. The first costs USD 529 and the second is priced at USD 429.

These two models use one and the same display panel - a flat 27-inch IPS Black unit with a QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 px), a 2000:1 static contrast, and 400 nits of brightness with VESA DisplayHDR certification. The display supports 8-bit+FRC color bit depth with 100% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3 color space coverage. The refresh rate is 120Hz with 5 ms GTG response time (with Overdrive) and AMD FreeSync Premium certification. The display is TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certified with a Hardware Solution, including HP Eye Ease. The monitors have a 4-sided borderless design and a fully ergonomic, silver-colored stand enabling up to 150 mm height adjustment, a bi-directional pivot, +/-45 degrees of swivel, and -5 to 20 degrees of tilt.

HP 727pu and HP 727pq differ in the connectivity options. Each has a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with 15W power delivery, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with 65W power delivery and DP Alt mode, a DisplayPort 1.4 input, a DisplayPort 1.4 output, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a LAN port with Wake-on-LAN, PXE Boot, and MAC address pass-through. The HP 727pu has five USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A downstream ports, a Thunderbolt 4 input with USB Type-C 40 Gbps signaling rate, 100W power delivery, and DP Alt Mode, and a Thunderbolt 4 output for daisy chaining with 15W power delivery. The HP 727pq has three USB Type-A ports and lacks Thunderbolt connectivity. Both support Smart KVM, PiP, and PbP to further boost productivity. HP Display Manager also enables remote management of the monitor with a stable ethernet connection.
