For those looking for more screen real estate and enhanced brightness, AGON by AOC added a 31.5-inch Mini LED offering to the AOC AGON Pro AG277UX, which was unveiled yesterday. The new model is dubbed AOC AGON Pro AG327UXM and is built around a 31.5-inch Fast IPS display with a native 4K UHD resolution and a 160 Hz refresh rate. In need of speed, you can quickly switch to an FHD resolution at a 320 Hz refresh rate. Unlike the 27" model, the 31.5" one supports Adaptive-Sync technology with AMD FreeSync. Motion clarity is a standout feature, thanks to a 1 ms gray-to-gray response time and a 0.5 ms MPRT when Motion Blur Reduction is activated.
Moreover, thanks to the Mini LED backlight with 2304 local dimming zones and a total of 9216 mini LEDs, the AG327UXM delivers a typical SDR brightness of 600 nits, HDR brightness of 1200 nits, and a peak HDR brightness of 1650 nits. Therefore, the model is DisplayHDR 1400 certified. With 10-bit color bit depth and Quantum Dot Color technology, the model offers 100% sRGB and 97% DCI-P3 color space coverage, supporting 6-axis color adjustment and a color accuracy of ΔE<1.
Connectivity is built for modern setups, featuring two HDMI 2.1 ports (FRL6, 48 Gbps) and a DisplayPort 1.4 input (DSC), making it compatible with next-gen consoles and high-performance PCs. A USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub with three Type-A ports and a Type-B upstream connection streamlines peripheral management, while a dedicated headphone jack offers convenient audio access without the need for adapters.
The monitor comes with a fully adjustable stand that supports up to 130 mm of height adjustment, a bi-directional pivot, 30 degrees of swivel in either direction, and tilt ranging from -5 to 23 degrees. A telescoping headphone hook and rear-mounted Light FX LEDs add functional and aesthetic touches.
AOC has also packed in gamer-focused features, including AOC G-Menu, Low Input Lag mode for faster response, Shadow Control and Game Color for visual tuning, FPS counter, and Motion Blur Reduction. PiP and PbP are also supported.
