Add DisplaySpecifications as a preferred source on GoogleThe Asus PA32KCX 8K ProArt Display made its debut 2 years ago. However, its official specifications were fully unveiled three months ago and today Asus announced the model's pricing and availability.
The Asus PA32KCX is available now in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at a suggested retail price of €9199.90 / CHF 9199.90, including VAT, through specialist retailers, online stores, and the Asus Webshop. Asus is partnering with Adobe to offer a three-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Substance 3D, and Adobe Acrobat - valued at up to US$397.44 - with purchases in select regions. The offer is valid through August 31, 2026.
The Asus PA32KCX 8K ProArt Display is the world's first 8K HDR professional monitor featuring Mini LED backlighting with 4032-zone local dimming, 1200 nits peak brightness, and 1000 nits sustained brightness across the entire screen. Designed for filmmakers, colorists, VFX artists, and high-end content creators, the PA32KCX sets a new benchmark for reference-grade desktop displays.
The monitor's pixel density of 275 PPI is more than twice that of a typical 32-inch 4K monitor. The result is dramatically sharper text, finer detail reproduction, and up to 300% more onscreen workspace compared to 4K UHD displays of the same size. Asus employs its latest Mini LED technology with a redesigned LED light profile that concentrates backlight output more precisely, reducing blooming and halo artifacts. Multiple integrated control ICs manage each dimming zone independently, minimizing flicker during brightness transitions and maintaining high sustained luminance.
The PA32KCX covers 95% Adobe RGB, 97% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB, and 100% Rec. 709, making it suitable for professional video editing, color grading, and post-production. Its true 10-bit IPS panel displays over 1.07 billion colors, while factory calibration ensures Delta E<1 accuracy. Each unit undergoes a rigorous three-stage calibration process, followed by Asus grayscale tracking tests to guarantee smooth gradations and uniformity across the panel.
The Asus Smart HDR technology allows the PA32KCX to support Dolby Vision, HLG, and HDR10. A standout feature of the PA32KCX is its motorized flip colorimeter, which deploys automatically for scheduled or on-demand calibration. The colorimeter supports self-calibration without external software and works across all operating systems.
Asus ProArt Calibration technology stores color profiles directly on the monitor’s internal scaler IC, allowing creators to switch between devices without reconfiguring settings. The display also integrates seamlessly with Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS for studio-grade hardware calibration. For multi-monitor environments, ProArt Color Center enables remote group calibration and centralized management of color parameters.
The monitor includes dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, DisplayPort 2.1, and two HDMI 2.1 ports, ensuring compatibility with current and next-generation hardware. One Thunderbolt 4 port delivers 96W Power Delivery, while the second supports daisy-chaining multiple displays. A built-in Auto KVM switch allows users to control two computers with a single keyboard and mouse - ideal for multitasking between workstations.
Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture modes support up to four simultaneous input sources, with customizable color engine settings for each window. Ambient light and proximity sensors automatically adjust brightness or dim the display when the user steps away, improving comfort and energy efficiency. The PA32KCX includes a fully adjustable ergonomic stand with tilt, swivel, pivot, and height controls.
