Tianma unveils a 27-inch QHD IPS display panel with a 610Hz refresh rate
9 January 2026, 12:10:49
Tianma is pushing the boundaries of gaming display performance with the debut of a 27‑inch IPS panel boasting an unprecedented 610Hz refresh rate at a QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 px) - one of the highest ever demonstrated in a consumer‑oriented format. The company is showcasing the technology by appointment only at CES 2026 in the West Hall Meeting Rooms (W323).
The new panel enables ultra‑smooth motion clarity aimed squarely at competitive and esports‑grade gaming. According to the company, the breakthrough refresh rate is made possible through three key advancements within the panel stack: a positive‑mode liquid crystal material, an optimized alignment layer, and a refined thin‑film transistor (TFT) structure.
Beyond raw speed, the display is engineered for visual comfort and color performance. Tianma reports a 1ms GTG response time to reduce motion blur, along with anti‑glare and anti‑reflection treatments designed for extended gaming sessions. The panel delivers 350 nits of brightness, a 1200:1 contrast ratio, and full coverage of the DCI‑P3 color gamut - specs that position it as a high‑fidelity option for both competitive and content‑rich gaming environments.
