The Huawei Smart Screen V75 Super with Mini LED and Smart Screen V98 are unveiledHuawei has launched two new TVs from its Smart Screen / Vision series for the Chinese market. The more interesting one of the two is the Huawei Vision V75 Super / Huawei Smart Screen V75 Super. This TV has a Mini LED backlight with 46080 mini LEDs and 2880 physical local dimming zones. The display panel remains unknown and has an HDR Vivid certification - the new Chinese HDR standard. The typical brightness is 600 cd/m² and the peak brightness can reach 3000 cd/m². With Quantum Dot Color technology, the discplay covers 97% of the DCI-P color space. The TV has a native refresh rate of 120Hz and is based on Huawei's Honghu 818 chipset with a 1.5GHz quad-core CPU and a 600Hz quad-core Mali-G51. The built-in RAM and storage measure 4GB and 128GB. In addition, the TV runs on Huawei's HarmonyOS 2.0 with plenty of AI features including the 24MP pop-up camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The 3.1.2 CH Diwale Cinema Soundfield sound system comprises 10 carbon fiber dual-drive full-frequency units, 4 natural silk diaphragm ball top high-frequency units, 2 large stroke ultra-thin low-frequency units, 4 passive radiator bass enhancement units. The total system output is 75W. It also employs the Huawei Sound Engine and AI Sky Sound Technology. The connectivity options include four HDMI 2.0 inputs, two USB 3.0 ports, cable/antenna input, AV Composite in a 3.5 mm jack, optical audio out (S/PDIF), LAN port. The model is priced at CNY 24,999.

The second TV is the Huawei Smart Screen V98 / Huawei Vision V98. This TV has a monstrous size, including a diagonal size of 98 inches. It most probably uses the LG Display LD980DQD-FGM1 IPS panel with 450 nits of typical brightness. The DCI-P3 color space coverage is 90%. The TV uses 192 matrix backlight zones and has a native refresh rate of 120Hz. Processing power is based on the same Honghu 818 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM. This model also has a 24MP camera for video conferencing, sports, kids entertainent, education, etc. The TV uses six microphones for voice interaction. The audio system has two full-range and two mid-range units, Huawei Sound Engine with Dolby Digital Plus and DTS HD support. The connectivity options include a USB 3.0 port, three HDMI 2.0 inputs, AV composite in, optical audio out, cable/antenna in, LAN port. The model is priced at CNY 29,499.
