AOC U27G4R will debut in May with a dual-mode 4K Fast IPS display and a 160Hz refresh rate

AOC U27G4R is the latest addition to a slew of 4K gaming monitors for Europe. It will go on sale in May competitively priced at EUR 349. It is almost identical to the AOC U27G4 which was unveiled a couple of months ago, but has a different stand base and expands the connectivity options with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub comprising four Type-A ports and a Type-B upstream port. The rest includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 input (all three with DSC), and a headphone jack. The most attractive feature of the AOC U27G4R is that it has a dual-mode 4K Fast IPS display. The screen supports 4K resolution at 160 Hz (its native resolution and refresh rate) and FHD resolution at 320 Hz. It also has a 1 ms GTG response time and 0.5 ms MPRT. The model has an average typical brightness of 400 nits for VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. It has a 124.7% sRGB volume and covers 95.9% of the DCI-P3 and 93.4% of the Adobe RGB color space. A fully ergonomic stand is provided for this model enabling up to 130 mm of height adjustment, a bi-directional pivot, +/-30 degrees of swivel, and -5 to 23 degrees tilt.
