Asus ROG Swift Pro PG248QP was announced at CES 2023 and was promised for a Q2 release but the full specs were released in early October and it is now that Asus ROG unveiled its pricing and availability. It is now available in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at a recommended retail price of 1349.90 EUR / CHF incl. VAT in specialized and online shops as well as in the ASUS webshop (DE/AT & CH).
This ultra-fast gaming monitor features a customized 24.1-inch TN display panel developed together with AU Optronics (AUO) and NVIDIA. The display has an FHD resolution and a 540Hz (OC) refresh rate. Moreover, the panel uses the latest E-TN technology, making it 50% faster than traditional TN panels. 0.2 GTG response time is specified. With a brightness of 400 nits, the display meets the VESA DisplayHDR 400 standard. NVIDIA G-Sync Ultra Low Motion Blur 2 (ULMB 2) technology provides enhanced motion blur reduction, bringing over 2000 Hz of effective motion clarity. This technology offers full-refresh-rate backlight strobing, significantly higher brightness than the original ULMB technology, and zero crosstalk. To reduce blur, ULMB 2 only turns on the backlight when all the pixels are showing the right color. The built-in NVIDIA Reflex Analyzer identifies end-to-end system latency and delivers a precise measure of your PC's performance and the built-in NVIDIA processor ensures a variable refresh rate of 1-540Hz for tear-free gaming.
Asus ROG Swift Pro PG248QP arrives with an ergonomic stand that provides up to 110 mm of height adjustment, +/-30 degrees of swivel, and -5 to 20 degrees of tilt. Moreover, the base claws can be retracted inwards and outwards as to provide a better desktop fit. Immersive gaming audio is enabled via an integrated ESS codec. Enjoy up to 32-bit 384 kHz quality PCM audio support, near-zero latency, surround sound, and enhanced audio for heightened in-game awareness. The exclusive GamePlus hotkey offers in-game enhancements that help you get more out of your game with features such as Stopwatch, Crosshair, Timer, FPS Counter, and Display Alignment.
