2021 8K LG QNED MiniLED 99 Series and 4K QNED MiniLED 90 Series specifications and featuresLG has released the specifications and features of the large-size models from the 8K QNED MiniLED 99 Series and 4K QNED MiniLED 90 Series. The 2021 8K LG QNED MiniLED 99 Series so far includes the following models: These are TVs with Real 8K NanoCell evo Displays with 120Hz native refresh rate, MiniLED backlights and full array local dimming. The displays are based on the Quantum NanoCell Color Technology that combines the best features of Quantum Dot color and NanoCell technology. They support HDR10 Pro, HLG, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Vision IQ. The TVs run on the new webOS 6.0 with LG ThinQ AI and are based on the α9 Gen4 AI Processor 8K and support AI 8K Upscaling, AI Picture Pro, AI Sound Pro, Intelligent Voice Recognition, Filmmaker Mode. The TVs also feature Game Optimizer and AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync support. The models support Amazon Alexa, Apple Airplay 2, Apple Homekit, Apple TV, Disney+, Google Assistant, HDR Gaming Interest Group (HGiG), Hulu, Magic Explorer, Magic Tap, Netflix, Next Picks, Prime Video, Spotify, Youtube TV. The connectivity options include four HDMI 2.1 inputs, LAN port, three USB 2.0 ports, optical audio out, RS23C mini jack, etc. We believe the rest of the specifications will be released by LG in due course. The 2021 4K LG QNED MiniLED 90 Series so far includes the following models: These are 4K TVs with 120Hz native refresh rate, Quantum NanoCell Color Technology, MiniLED backlights and full array local dimming. They support HDR10 Pro, HLG, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Vision IQ. The TVs run on the new webOS 6.0 with LG ThinQ AI. However, they are based the α7 Gen4 AI Processor 4K. Hence they support the non-Pro AI Picture and AI Sound. NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync support and Game Optimizer are onboard as well along with the other usual features such as Amazon Alexa, Apple Airplay 2, Apple Homekit, Apple TV, Disney+, Google Assistant, HDR Gaming Interest Group (HGiG), Hulu, Magic Explorer, Magic Tap, Netflix, Next Picks, Prime Video, Spotify, Youtube TV. The exact connectivity options remain unknown but for sure the 4K LG QNED MiniLED 90 Series has more than one HDMI 2.1 port with HFR, VRR, ALLM support.
