This week, LG launched its new lineup of OLED gaming monitors in Japan. Among the ones we already know from CES 2025 and earlier introductions, we noticed the LG 45GX90SA. This monitor uses a 3rd generation OLED panel with a 44.5-inch diagonal size, an 800R curvature, an ultra-wide QHD resolution of 3440 x 1440 px, and a 240 Hz refresh rate with AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible certification. The 10-bit display panel covers 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color space and delivers 275 nits of typical SDR brightness as well as 1300 nits of peak HDR brightness. The L-shaped stand of the LG 45GX90SA supports up to 120 mm of height adjustment, +/-10 degrees of swivel, and -10 to 15 degrees of tilt. The connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.5 input, two USDB 2.0 Type-A ports, a USB Type-C upstream port with 65W power delivery and DP Alt Mode, a LAN port, and a headphone jack. Among all else, the 45GX90SA is also a smart monitor. It arrives with webOS 24 with Apple TV, Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Prime Video, and other apps preinstalled and supports Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). Some of the monitor's additional features include Auto Input Switch, Black Stabilizer, Color Calibrated, Color Weakness Mode, Crosshair, Dual Controller, Dynamic Action Sync, FPS Counter, Factory Calibration, and LG Switch. The monitor also has LG's signature RGB Hexagon LED Lighting on the rear shell. In Japan, the LG 45GX90SA can be preordered for JPY 289,801, which translates to ~USD 1937 and ~EUR 1844, according to today's currency rates.
