2026 LG Micro RGB evo TVs and 2026 LG QNED evo and QNED TVs
7 January 2026, 15:39:13
The most noteworthy 2026 LG LCD TVs fall into two categories - the new MicroRGB one and the already familiar QNED series.
2026 LG Micro RGB evo TVs are headed by the LG MRGB95B
LG Micro RGB evo is a significant advancement that brings OLED‑level precision to Micro RGB technology. By applying the same meticulous control used in its OLED lineup, LG now manages each RGB LED backlight with heightened accuracy, effectively channeling more than a decade of OLED expertise into a new display category. At the core of this evolution is the upgraded α11 AI Processor Gen 3, powered by a Dual AI Engine. The processor's Dual Super Upscaling capability allows it to handle two forms of AI upscaling simultaneously, sharpening images while maintaining natural tonality and balance. The result is a viewing experience defined by exceptional clarity, depth, and immersion.
This processing power also enables RGB Primary Color Ultra, a technology designed to deliver a full spectrum of color reproduction. With certifications from Intertek confirming 100% color gamut coverage in BT.2020, DCI‑P3, and Adobe RGB, the LG Micro RGB evo achieves the highest level of color accuracy currently possible.
To complement its color performance, the display incorporates Micro Dimming Ultra, a system that manages more than a thousand dimming zones with remarkable accuracy. This allows the TV to achieve standout contrast among LCD‑based displays, revealing fine detail in both shadowed and brightly lit scenes through precise control of brightness and color.
For 2026, LG has prepared three Micro RGB series. The top one is dubbed LG MRGB95B with Micro RGB zone dimming, more than 1000 zones, and Dolby Vision support. It comprises three models - LG 100MRGB95B, LG 86MRGB95B, and LG 75MRGB95B.
The other two series are named LG MRGB9M and LG MRGB85B. Each uses an Edge RGB LED backlight with currently unknown RGB LED zones.
2026 LG QNED TV series
For this model year, LG plans on releasing three QNED series and most probably, select markets will get variants of the trio. The top one is the LG QNED90B with a Mini LED backlight and 144Hz 4K panels, and an α8 AI Processor Gen 3. This series introduces a 115-inch model with a 165Hz panel and dual-mode support for 330Hz at FHD. The entire lineup comprises the following models:- LG 115QNED90B
