The 8K Asus PA32KCX ProArt Display is finally launched in October 2025

23 October 2025, 09:47:21

The 8K Asus PA32KCX ProArt Display is finally launched in October 2025The 8K Asus PA32KCX ProArt Display was announced in April 2024. More than a year later, Asus announces its availability. This pro-grade 8K HDR mini-LED monitor, aimed at content creators and post-production professionals, will go on sale by the end of this month. The PA32KCX uses an 8K (7680 x 4320) IPS panel with roughly 275 pixels per inch for sharper text and more on-screen workspace compared with 32-inch 4K screens. It leverages mini‑LED backlighting with 4032 local-dimming zones to reach a 1200-nit peak brightness and sustain up to 1000 nits across the screen for consistent HDR highlights and deep blacks. Within the monitor, numerous control integrated chips (IC) independently manage the backlight zones to effectively minimize onscreen flicker during transitions, ensuring high levels of sustained brightness.

Asus Smart HDR technology enables PA32KCX to support multiple HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, HLG, and HDR10. Dolby Vision transforms the viewing experience with unmatched levels of brightness, contrast, and colors. HLG allows users to view and create material for broadcast and satellite TV platforms such as BBC iPlayer, Japan NHK TV, and DirecTV. HDR10 support ensures compatibility with existing streaming video services and a growing list of HDR-enabled games.

The PA32KCX covers 95% Adobe RGB, 97% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB, and 100% Rec.709, and it uses a true 10-bit IPS panel capable of displaying over 1.07 billion colors. A motorized, built-in flip colorimeter supports self- and auto-calibration, stores profiles on the monitor’s internal scaler, and works with ASUS ProArt Calibration software as well as Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS for hardware-level color management.

Each ProArt display is factory pre-calibrated using a new three-scale process to guarantee industry-leading color fidelity. The display then undergoes stringent testing using Asus advanced grayscale tracking technology to ensure smoother color gradations, better uniformity, and high color accuracy with a Delta E<1 color difference value.

The monitor includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, DisplayPort 2.1, and two HDMI 2.1 inputs, with one Thunderbolt port offering up to 96 W Power Delivery and the other enabling daisy-chaining of displays. Built-in Auto KVM lets you control two connected computers with a single keyboard and mouse. Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture modes let you view multiple sources simultaneously, and the monitor adds ambient and proximity sensors to optimize brightness based on lighting and presence.

The PA32KCX ships with an ergonomic stand that offers tilt, swivel, height, and 90-degree pivot, along with a quick-release VESA mount option and a wraparound hood to cut reflections. ProArt Color Center enables remote group calibration and centralized profile management for teams and facilities.

Select regional purchases of the PA32KCX include a three-month Adobe Creative Cloud bundle that covers Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Substance 3D, and Adobe Acrobat, redeemable through product registration; full details and redemption terms are provided by ASUS.
