Xiaomi will launch an OLED TV in Q1 of 2020, 8K and Mini LED TVs will followAfter the official announcement of the Mi TV 5 and Mi TV 5 Pro series on November 5th, Li Xiaoshuang, Xiaomi's General Manager of the TV division, held a question and answer session with Chinese media. Among all topics of discussion, it became clear that Xiaomi will definitely launch an OLED TV and the targeted time frame is Q1 of 2020. Xiaomi plans on also introducing 8K TVs, MINI LED TVs, etc. For sure there will be more and diverse products in the future. Li Xiaoshuang said that Xiaomi is China's number 1 TV vendor for the first three quarters of the year and expects to be number 1 for the fourth quarter as well.

As long as it concerns panel suppliers, Li Xiaoshuang said that Xiaomi has a good cooperation with many manufacturers. Some of them are China Star Optoelectronics Technology, BOE, Samsung and LG. Most probably Xiaomi will first discuss the matter with CSOT and BOE. No further details have been disclosed.Source
