ViewSonic VG2781-4K with a 27" 4K IPS display and MacBook Pro color support sync goes official

ViewSonic has launched an affordable 27" 4K IPS in China - the ViewSonic VG2781-4K. It follows last year's debut of its smaller sibling - the ViewSonic VG2481-4K. Moreover, the new model provides seamless connectivity with the MacBook Pro to automatically display the same color and resolution without the need to make adjustments from the settings. It has a 27-inch 4K IPS display with a brightness of 400 nits and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. The 10-bit display panel covers 95% of the DCi-P3 and 92% of the Adobe RGB color space. It has a native refresh rate of 60 Hz with support for up to 75 Hz at different resolutions.
ViewSonic VG2781-4K has a fully ergonomic stand with up to 150 mm of height adjustment, a bi-directional pivot, +/-45 degrees of swivel, and -5 to 20 degrees of tilt. Its connectivity options include three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a USB 3.0 Type-B port, and a USB Type-C port with 96W power delivery and DP ALt Mode. The user manual depicts a menu from the monitor's settings from where you can enable/disable USB 3.2 support. There are also two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.2, and a headphone jack. The monitor arrives with two 3W speakers as well. Whether this model will be available outside China remains unknown at the moment. In China, the model is priced at CNY 2399 (USD 334) originally but online retailers have discounted it to CNY 1699 (USD 237).
