Asus ROG Strix XG27UCS with a 160Hz 4K Fast IPS display goes official

Asus ROG Strix XG27UCS was unveiled this past weekend which coincided with the launch of a very similar monitor by MS - the MSI MAG 274UPF E2. Both monitors have 27-inch 4K Fast/Rapid IPS displays with a refresh rate of up to 160Hz. The Asus ROG Strix XG27UCS has a 1 ms GTG response time and a 10-bit panel (not specified whether with or without FRC). It covers 130% of the sRGB and 95% of the DCI-P3 color space. The typical and maximum brightness are 400 and 450 nits, respectively, which is enough for a VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. The model is also VESA AdaptiveSync Display 160Hz certified and supports AMD FreeSync technology and is NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible. TÜV Rheinland certification for its flicker-free and low blue light technologies is also included.
Asus ROG Strix XG27UCS arrives with plenty of gaming features including Gaming AI with Dynamic Crosshair, Dynamic Shadow Boost, Variable Overdrive 2.0, ELMB Sync, GameFast Input, GamePlus, GameVisual, etc. The connectivity options include an HDMI 2.1 port, a DisplayPort 1.4 input, a USB Type-C port with 15W power delivery, and a headphone jack. The monitor has a fully ergonomic stand enabling up to 120 mm of height adjustment, +/-45 degrees of swivel, a bi-directional pivot, and -5 to 20 degrees of tilt.
