Gigabyte S55U 55" 4K gaming monitor with Android OS and Google Assistant goes officialGigabyte has unveiled a huge gaming monitor dubbed Gigabyte S55U. It features a 55-inch VA display with a 4K resolution, 500 nits of typical brightness, 1500 nits of peak brightness, 5000:1 static contrast, and 10-bit color support. The display has a 2 ms minimal and 5 ms average GTG response time as well as a native refresh rate of 120Hz. It covers 96% of the DCI-P3 and 140% of the sRGB color space. Its backlight has 132 local dimming zones. In a similar fashion to Samsung's smart monitors which have Tizen OS on board, the Gigabyte S55U has Android OS on board with Google Assistant. The model supports noise reduction, black equalizer, aim adjuster sync, and AMD FreeSync Premium. The model is fitted with dual 10W speakers, a LAN port, two HDMI 2.1 ports, two HDMI 2.0 ones, a USB 3.2 Gen. 1 Type-A and Type-B port, a USB 2.0 input, a headphone jack. Bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi are also supported.
