The Asus XG43UQ, TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A, Asus PG279QM, and XG16AHP-W join the Asus PG32UQToday, Asus unveiled its 2021 monitor lineup that includes diverse gaming, ProArt, and ZenScreen solutions to meet the needs of gamers, content creators, and business customers.

For PC and console players, Asus has prepared five new gaming monitors. The first has been unveiled yesterday - the Asus ROG Swift PG32UQ. This is the world's first 32-inch HDMI 2.1 gaming monitor and features a 144 Hz IPS panel with a 1ms MPRT. It has two HDMI 2.1 ports to support up to 4K visuals at up to 120 Hz on the latest gaming consoles. It also has Display Stream Compression (DSC) technology, a compression standard for transporting ultra-high definition video streams across a single interface at high speed with no perceptible loss of visual quality. It allows the Asus PG32UQ to support up to 4K 144Hz visuals via a single DisplayPort 1.4 connection. Moreover, the monitor is G-SYNC Compatible with Reflex Latency Analyzer and features ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB Sync) technology and ASUS Variable Overdrive technology for consistently smooth visuals at variable frame rates. For color performance, the gaming monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 600 compliant, has 160% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3 color gamut support, and is factory pre-calibrated to ensure Delta E < 2 color accuracy. Another model from the ROG Swift series is the Asus PG279QM - a 27-inch WQHD monitor with a 240Hz, 1 ms, Fast IPS panel. It features a G-SYNC processor with Reflex Latency Analyzer (RLA), is DisplayHDR 400 compliance and cover 95% of the DCI-P3 color space. It also includes ASUS-exclusive GamePlus and GameVisual software to give gamers an in-game advantage. The PG279QM offers Aura Sync lighting and can be paired with other Aura Sync compatible products to create a unified gaming setup. In addition, the monitor is compatible with the ROG Desk Mount Kit. The ROG Strix series is presented by the Asus XG43UQ - 43-inch 4K UHD gaming monitor with a 144 Hz refresh rate. It offers a variety of features, including DSC, ASUS ELMB SYNC, and High Dynamic Range (HDR). ASUS ELMB SYNC eliminates streaks and motion blur, resulting in a sharper display of motion, making gameplay smoother and more responsive. Finally, this monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified and has a 90% DCI-P3 color gamut. The compact and lightweight Asus XG16AHP-W from the ROG Strix series is a portable 15.6-inch FHD IPS gaming monitor with a 144 Hz refresh rate and Adaptive-Sync technology for smooth gameplay. It features a built-in high-capacity 7800 mAh battery that allows up to three hours of gaming at 144Hz, and also has a quick charge feature that allows up to two hours of use after an hour-long charge. This monitor features USB-C and Micro HDMI ports for compatibility with mobile devices, laptops, game consoles, cameras and more. A fold-out kickstand and the included ROG tripod provide ideal viewing positions for work or games. The smallest of the three, the Asus TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A is a 28-inch 4K UHD monitor with a frameless design on three sides and a Fast IPS panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a response time of 1 ms. It features variable refresh rate technology for fluid gaming, along with 125% sRGB and 90% DCI-P3 color space coverage, VESA DisplayHDR 400 compliance, ELMB SYNC, and variable overdrive technologies.

All of these monitors are planned for a first-quarter 2021 release. Only the TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A will be released in the second quarter. Finally, Asus unveiled again the Asus ROG Swift PG32UQX. It has a Mini LED backlight with 1,152 zones supporting a 32-inch IPS display panel with a 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) and 95% DCI-P3 coverage. The monitor has a peak brightness of 1600 nits. It also supports 10-bit color throughout the refresh rate range (up to 144Hz) thanks to the advanced NVIDIA G-SYNC ULTIMATE processor. The model is equipped with two HDMI 2.0 inputs, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a DisplayPort 1.4.
