Samsung Electronics is rolling out the first-ever integration of generative AI into its TV and monitor lineup starting in 2025. The new feature, powered by Perplexity, will be available across a wide range of models, including micro RGB, Neo QLED, QLED, OLED, The Frame Pro, The Frame TV, and the 2025 M7, M8, and M9 monitors.
Perplexity is an advanced AI search engine designed to deliver smart, conversational answers by pulling information from reliable sources. It doesn't just respond - it anticipates follow-up questions and offers deeper insights across a wide range of topics. Whether you're looking for movie recommendations, planning a trip, checking sports scores, or analyzing business performance, Perplexity can help you get fast, relevant answers. Users can access the Perplexity experience through Samsung's new Vision AI Companion. Just press the AI button on your screen or remote to launch the app and start exploring.
As a bonus, Samsung is offering a complimentary 12-month subscription to Purplexity Pro for users who activate Perplexity on their 2025 TVs or monitors. Samsung also plans to bring Perplexity to select 2023 and 2024 models via OS updates by the end of the year.
Perplexity is a generative AI-powered search engine that synthesizes information from trusted sources to deliver detailed answers and suggest related queries. Its integration into Samsung's display products marks a major step toward smarter, more intuitive home entertainment experiences.
