MSI MPG 491CQP QD-OLED receives a CES 2024 Innovation AwardMSI MPG 491CQP is an upcoming QD-OLED monitor that has received a CES 2024 Innovation Award and is expected to be revealed in full during the CES 2024 show in early January next year. The product has been honored under two different categories - "Gaming & eSports" and "Computer Peripherals & Accessories". This monitor is a downgraded version of a model that has already been unveiled earlier but not launched yet - the MSI 491C QD-OLED with a 49-inch ultrawide curved QD-OLED display panel and a 240Hz refresh rate. For the MSI MPG 491CQP, MSI specifies a resolution of 5120 c 1440 px, a 1800R curvature, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 0.03 ms GTG response time, and a USB Type-C port with 90W power delivery. This model is also VESA ClearMR 9000 and DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified. OLED Care 2.0 enhances care services and significantly reduces the chances of OLED burn-in. Finally, MSI Gaming Intelligence (G.I.) powered by AI technology, enhances gaming experience and offers features like Smart Crosshair, Night Vision AI, Optix Scope, and more. Console gaming is supported via the HDMI 2.1 ports with full 48 Gbps bandwidth, and support for 120Hz, VRR, ALLM, and CEC.
