TCL launches the Q815, C815 and P815 QLED TV series in JapanTCL has launched in Japan three QLED TV series - the Q815, C815, and P815. While the C815 and P815 series were detailed in the spring, the Q815 is entirely new. It includes the TCL 65Q815 and the TCL 55Q815. These are 4K UHD TVs with Quantum Dot Technology and VA panels with 60Hz native refresh rate. They provide 5000:1 static contrast ratio with a 6.5 ms GTG response time for the 65" model and 8.5 ms GTG response time for the 55" model. The connectivity options include three HDMI 2.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, AV composite in 3.5 mm jack, optical audio out, headphone jack, a slot for a miniB-CAS card for digital broadcasting that's a Japan-only feature, LAN port, etc. The TVs support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi Direct. They run on Android 9.0 Pie with Google Assistant, Chromecast built-in, Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, and other apps. Some of the image-enhancing features of the TCL Q815 QLED TV series include Local Dimming, Micro Dimming, iPQ Engine, Motion Estimation Motion Compensation (MEMC), Wide Color Gamut, and others.
