2020 Philips 9005 LCD TV series - features and specificationsIt looks like Philips is about to launch the 9005 LCD TV series for this year as information about separate models is on and off various Philips websites. The series comprises of three models: These are 4K TVs that have a Direct LED backlight and support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG. They are equipped with a wide color gamut panel, which on the 70-inch and the 50-inch model is of the VA type for sure. All models are powered by an updated P5 Pro Perfect Picture Engine Gen 1 and have a Perfect Natual Motion index of 2200. 3GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage are provided. The connectivity options include a USB 3.0 and a USB 2.0 port, four HDMI 2.0 inputs. HDCP 2.3 and ALLM are supported. In terms of audio, the 2020 Philips 9005 TV series arrives with two 10W full-range speakers, DTS-HD, DTS Play-Fi, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus support. The TVs run on Android 9.0 Pie and have a 4-sided Ambilight. In terms of design, each has a silver-colored metal bezel and a stand with a trapezoidal base in dark chrome color. Remote control with a microphone for voice control is a standard accessory.
