Last night LeEco (former LeTV) and Vizio announced at a special event that China-based LeEco acquires Vizio for $2B. The hardware and software businesses of Vizio will be in the form of a wholly owned subsidiary of LeEco, while the data business (Inscape) will be separated in a privately owned company. This deal is a major step for LeEco to enter the North American market after doing so with its LeEco smartphones...
