NVIDIA introduces the world's first BFGDs (big format gaming displays)NVIDIA has introduced the world's first BFGDs (big format gaming displays) created in conjunction with Acer, Asus and HP (OMEN X65). The first model features a high-end 65-inch, 4K display with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology and NVIDIA SHIELD. The G-SYNC Variable Refresh Rate technology allows for refresh rates of up to 120Hz that results in smooth and immersive gameplay. Furthermore, G-SYNC brings the ultra-low latency found in G-SYNC desktop gaming monitors to the BFGD when gaming directly on the PC, Android, another console or using NVIDIA GameStream technology. The displays support HDR, feature a full-array direct backlight, has an amazing 1000 cd/2 peak luminance and cover the DCI-P3 colour gamut. BFGDs have the Android TV-based NVIDIA SHIELD technology integrated in them. It makes easier switching between gaming and other forms of entertainment. The displays arrive bundled with SHIELD remote and game controller. They will be launched in the summer of 2018 with pricing and availability to be announced upon launch.
