Corsair introduced the world's first 45-inch 21:9 bendable OLED gaming monitor dubbed Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240. In partnership with LG Display, Corsair has created an ultra-wide OLED display that you can bend to the curvature you want - from 800R to completely flat. As already mentioned, the ultrawide display has a 45-inch diagonal size and a UWQHD resolution (3440 x 1440). Corsair also mentioned 1,350,000:1 contrast ratio. The typical brightness at 100% APL (meaning when the whole screen shows white) is 150 nits. At 25% APL, it increases to 450 nits. At 10% APL in HDR mode, the brightness reaches 800 cd/m²; at 3% on HDR mode, it touches 1000 cd/m². Moreover, it supports up to a 240Hz refresh rate. The response time is specified as 0.03 ms. The Corsair Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 is AMD FreeSync Premium certified and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible. With true 10-bit color support, it covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space. Last but not least, the model is fitted with a burn-in prevention system and will come with a 3-year guarantee against burn-in and defective pixels. The rear panel of the display houses the system that allows you to bend or stretch flat the display. It has two convenient handles on the sides. The stand's strut is flat and on its back, there are two HDMI 2.1 inputs, DisplayPort 1.4, two USB Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports, and the power jack. On its front, there are two more USB Type-A ports, a headphone jack, an input selection button, and the monitor power button. The product debuted at Gamescom 2022 held in Cologne, Germany. Pricing and availability remain unknown at the moment.
