The Philips 243B9 is a new 24-inch desktop monitor with a USB-C port and a 75Hz FHD IPS displayA new B-Line monitor from Philips is about to be announced soon. The Philips 243B9 is a 24-inch desktop monitor with an FHD IPS display panel and 8-bit colour support. It covers 104% of the sRGB colour space and 90% of the NTSC one. The typical brightness is 250 nits and the contrast ratio is the usual 1000:1. The GTG response time is 4 ms. The monitor supports Adaptive-Sync Technology and its refresh rate reaches up to 75Hz. Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light techs are provided as well to lessen the strain on the eyes. The Philips 243B9 is equipped with two 2W speakers and a SmartErgoBase that provides full ergonomy. The stand allows height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustment as well as can be removed for VESA wall mounting (100 x 100 mm holes). The main selling point of this model is its USB Type-C port, which is suitable for data transfer and power delivery at one and the same time. There are two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.2 ports, all are downstream, an HDMI 1.4 input, a DisplayPort 1.2, 3.5 mm audio-in and 3.5 mm audio-out jack, a VGA/D-Sub port.
