The world's first IPS gaming monitor with 1 ms response time is announcedToday LG has unveiled the world's first IPS gaming monitor with 1 ms response time - the LG UltraGear with a Nano IPS display and NVIDIA G-SYNC for a refresh rate of 144Hz, overclockable to 175Hz. The monitor is available in two screen sizes - the 37.5-inch LG UltraGear 38GL950G and the 27-inch LG UltraGear 27GL850.

LG UltraGear 38GL950G supports both NVIDIA G-SYNC processor, VESA DisplayHDR 400 and is certified by NVIDIA through over 300 tests for performance and image quality to provide a great gaming experience. It has a resolution of 3840 x 1600 pixels with a 21:9 aspect ratio. The curved display, almost borderless design and the RGB ambient lights on the back of the unit with the updated Sphere Lighting 2.0 work for increasing the immersive experience.

LG UltraGear 27GL850 is NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible and supports HDR10. It has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Both monitors cover 98% of the DCI-P3 colours space and deliver smooth motion without tearing or stuttering and include game-specific settings such as Dynamic Action Sync mode, Black Stabilizer and Crosshair for ultimate accuracy, especially in FPS games.

The LG UltraGear Nano IPS gaming monitors will be released next month, with pre-orders for the 27-inch model commencing in the United States on July 1 with availability in key European markets in the third quarter of this year.

Both models will be unveiled at a private event at the NVIDIA exhibit space at E3, the world's largest annual gaming expo taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 11-13.
