Today Gigabyte has announced the world's first tactical gaming monitor. The AORUS AD27QD
has a 27-inch IPS display with a 2K QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) and a 144Hz refresh rate in 1ms (MPRT) response time. The 10-bit display panel covers 95% of the DCI-P3 colour space and has passed the VESA certified DisplayHDR 400 standards. With the AMD Radeon FreeSync technology on board, the monitor provides a fluent gaming experience. Anti-blue light and flicker-free techs are on board. The rear design of the AORUS AD27QD
resembles a falcon diving downwards in pursuit for its prey. The lateral LED lights look like glowing bird's eyes. Gigabyte says it has used digital RGB LEDs instead of traditional LEDs. Thanks to the RGB Fusion App, you'll be able to create a gaming ambience exclusively to you with its intuitive UI and customizability.
What makes this monitor a tactical gaming device is the suite of features designed to meet the gamers' needs giving them a tactical advantage in game. The Black Equalizer brightens up the dark parts in the picture for better visibility in dark areas. The Aim Stabilizer reduces the recoil effect blurriness and helps to trace moving enemies. The GameAssist is a kit of OSD functions with a customizable crosshair, counter, timer, and multi-screen alignment lines. The AORUS Dashboard is for displaying hardware information directly on the screen. The OSD Sidekick software allows you to control the monitor and its OSD with mouse and keyboard. The Active Noise Cancelling can help you cancel the noise around you when you're using a mic with the monitor. The model also provides PIP/PBP display mode, which can let you display 2 screens in one monitor.
In terms of convenience, the AORUS AD27QD
features a handle on the top of the stand so that it can be easily moved around and there's a rubber cable tie just below the ports and a dedicated hole at the bottom of the stand for neat cable management. The stand offers 90-degree pivot, 20-degree swivel both left and right, -5 to 21 degrees up/down tilt, height adjustment up to 130 cm. With built-in power, gamers will only need to carry a simple power cable while transporting the monitor. There's no need for an adapter. The USB port on the monitor can provide 5V/1.5A quick charge and there are 2x HDMI ports, 1x Displayport, and 2 USB 3.0 ports, with an audio jack and a mic jack.Източник
