HP unveiled the newest addition to its Omen X series - the 35" curved Omen X 35
. The series is created specially for immersive gameplay and this model is meant to provide exactly that. With a 21:9 aspect ratio, 1800R curvature, big diagonal size of 35.03 inches and a UWQHD resolution (3440 x 1440), this monitor offers 34% more screen surface than any 16:9 QHD display. The AMVA panel is combined with a w/LED backlight. The static contrast ratio is quite high - 2500:1, so nothing would escaped the gamer's vision. The typical brightness is 300 cd/sq.m. and gamut coverage is 100% of sRGB. The monitor also incorporates NVIDIA's G-SYNC technology ensuring 100Hz refresh rate for tear- and stutter-free gameplay aided by the 4 ms GTG response time. The micro-edge design means the bezels are almost non-existent. The connectivity options include 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 1x HDMI 1.4, and 3x USB 3.0 ports. OMEN by HP 32 Display has been announced at the end of May this year and now the Japanese site of HP has revealed some more information about the model.
